Overview

Norwegian Cruise Line is an American cruise line founded in Norway in 1966 and it's also the fourth-largest cruise line in the world by passengers volume. The Norwegian Cruise Line currently operates 19 cruise ships, and further eight on order to be commissioned soon. With Norwegian Cruises, the guests have more destinations to choose from and plenty of dining options on board.

Norwegian offers its guests an exclusive choice of room categories comprising of Villas and Deluxe Owner's Suites. The special suites have a private deck with a Sundeck, pool, exercise area and butler. The Private Haven has its own exclusive Lounge, The Haven Restaurant, and The Haven Courtyard & Sundeck. For the Non-Haven members, all Norwegian ships have beautifully crafted menus in their main dining rooms, an all-day buffet and a variety of casual eateries.

Guests experience exclusive entertainment from multiple production shows like Deal or No Deal, Wheel of Fortune, and Stand-Up Comedy shows. For families vacating on a Norwegian cruise, they include everything from bowling to rock climbing, and in the evening, you can enjoy a Broadway-style production or try your luck at one of the best casinos at sea.

Dining

Norwegian Cruises is famous for its Freestyle Dining, which offers passengers the freedom to choose their own restaurant and dining times. Even with multiple food choices ranging from French, Italian, Continental, to Spanish Tapas, Hawaiian, Asian Fusion and Sushi, guests can pick a different type of cuisine each night!

Guests need to make reservations when they choose to dine in NCL's speciality restaurants. They can make request to dine at same table for the length of the cruise and even pick to dine at a different table every day. Main dining rooms are open for dining for guests from 5.30 p.m. to midnight.

The prescribed dress code for most of the NCL’s cruises is casual. Men should be wearing close-toed shoes, slacks and a collared shirt. Women can wear slacks and blouse, a sundress or a pant suit. Few dresses such as Tank tops, flip flops, jeans with holes or tears are not allowed in main dining rooms.

Guests need to pay on board or buy a package including alcohol, wine, beer, and soft drinks.

If you’ve need for low-calorie, low-fat, low-carbohydrate, low-sugar, vegetarian, low sodium, low/no cholesterol, gluten free and Indian vegetarian food; make sure you make it no later than 2 weeks prior to sailing.
Smoking Policy

Public and most open areas throughout all NCL’s ships are smoke-free. If guests prefer to smoke regular or electronic cigarettes, they need to check and do so in designated areas and smoking lounges only.
