Founded in Rotterdam, Netherlands; the premier cruise line of Europe operated as a Dutch shipping line from 1873 to 1989. Dining

In a first of its kind initiative, Holland America Cruise Line offers its guests a dining-time flexibility with its As You Wish program. While making a reservation, guests can choose either the traditional dining arrangements or pick a flexible dining plan.

Holland America has designated smart casuals as its official dress code. At two gala nights, the men have to wear a jacket and tie and women should wear an evening gown or cocktail dress. Guests should refrain from wearing shorts, t-shirts and swimwear in the main dining room and jeans are not permitted at dinner.

Guests can have tea, coffee, juice and water complimentary at all bars and lounges. Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages need to be paid for at the time of booking or at the venues.

If you’ve need for low-calorie, low-fat, low-carbohydrate, low-sugar, vegetarian, low sodium, low/no cholesterol, gluten free and Indian vegetarian food; make sure you make it no later than 2 weeks prior to sailing.
Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed in all interior areas of Holland America Cruise ships. It is only permitted in designated areas on outside decks.
