On day two, the cruise will arrive at 9:00 AM in the mystical city of Taranto. The guests onboard can explore the famous Aragonese Castle and the National Archaeological Museum located in Taranto. Before departing the town at 6:00 PM, guests can also explore the Stones of Matera and beaches nearby for a relaxing afternoon.

It’s day three and the cruise will reach the port of Katakolon popularly known as Olympia at 12:00 PM. The guests can relive the spirit of the Olympics and take popular excursions such as Ancient Olympia and Modern Olympia. Costa Fascinosa on its fourth day will reach the enchanting town of Mykonos located in Greece at 12:00 PM. Guests should explore the village of Ano Mera along with peaceful Panagia Tourliani monastery. Visit the beaches of Kalo Livadi and enjoy the windmills located in the Little Venice before you depart the town at 10:30 PM. Guests will welcome the new destination, Mykonos Bay included in their itinerary. Relish the nightlife of Mykonos Bay among the lights of illuminated houses all over the Bay. The cruise reaches Mykonos Bay at 11:15 PM and departs at 1:30 AM towards the next destination.

It’s day fifth of the Mediterranean Cruise and we reach the port of Piraeus (Athens) at 7:00 AM in the morning. Costa Cruises has a well-equipped sight-seeing tour bus that takes you to the Zea Marina and the Port of Mikrolimano in the Comfort of Athens excursion. The bus also covers exciting area of downtown Athens, Temple of Zeus, and finally the Plaka district. The cruise will depart at 8:00 PM for its next destination in the itinerary.

It's day six, and the guests will get an opportunity to stay on the deck and engage themselves with some interesting activities organised by Costa Cruises. Relax while you're staying over the sea and prepare for your next adventure! The guests can plan to chill by the refreshing swimming pool all day or soak in some spa treatment. It’s day seven and the cruise will reach Valletta at 9:00 AM in the morning; it’s the capital city of Malta. Guests while relaxing in Valletta can check out top tourist spots such as Tarxien Megalithic Temples, Valletta’s Barrakka Gardens, and Mdina. Guests can also take a trip on a small boat to discover the Blue Cave and see the coral formations up close.

We’ve reached the final day of the Mediterranean Cruise but before we reach the disembarkation port, the guests get stunned by the most unspoiled point in the Strait of Sicily. All lights on the board go out and the Captain of the ship explains the phenomena happening in the sky. Costa Fascinosa halts at 12:01 AM and stays at the darkest spot till 12:30 AM. Next day, the Mediterranean Cruise arrives at the Catania Port at 7:00 AM and guests move onwards for their journey to their homes.
