Itinerary

It’s the day one of Greenland, Newfoundland & Quebec Voyage from Azamara and guest get onboard the Azamara Journey from port of Reykjavik on day two before it sets to sail at 5 PM. In the first two days of the cruise, guests can enjoy the excursion Lunar Landscapes & Bathing in the Blue Lagoon and Hot Spring Hike to Reykjadalur.

The guests on day three will be sailing at sea and can indulge in getting a spa treatment onboard or take up a fitness class at luxurious fitness centre. Interact with the fellow guests on the deck and enjoy exciting evening entertainment at the Lounge.

On day four of the cruise, the Azamara Journey will pass through the Prince Christian Sound, a breathtaking narrow waterway located in Southern Greenland. It’s a compact fjord which connects Labrador Sea and the Irminger Sea. The cruise arrives at Prince Christian Sound at 1 pm and departs at 6 pm.

It’s day five and the Azamara cruise will reach the largest city of Southern Greenland known as Qaqortoq. Guests onboard can check-out popular excursions like Uunartoq Hot Springs and Qaqortoq Iceberg Boat Tour. As hot springs are common here, the uninhabited island of Uunartoq is a favourite for locals and explorers. The cruise arrives at Qaqortoq at 8 am and departs at 8 pm.

The Greenland, Newfoundland & Quebec Voyage on day six will reach Paamiut, popularly known as Fredrikshaab, is a small town located at the mouth of the Kuannersooq Fjord. Guests when visiting this port can visit Paamiut Museum and explore hiking opportunities in back-country. The cruise arrives at Paamiut at 8 am and departs at 6 pm.

We reach the capital of Greenland, Nuuk today on day seven of the cruise and the city is popular for sightings of humpback whales, waterfall, and icebergs. Guests onboard the cruise can take part in favourite excursions such as Sermitsiaq Boat Tour, Cruise to Kangeq-Island of Hope, or Fjord Cruise. The cruise arrives at Nuuk at 7.30 am and departs at 5 pm.

On Day 10 of the Greenland, Newfoundland & Quebec Voyage, we reach the capital city of Newfoundland, St. John’s. This historic city has vibrant arts scene and natural beauty, the guests can engage in popular sightseeing like the Galapagos of Geology, St. John's Coastal Hike, or Botanical Gardens & Signal Hill. The cruise arrives at St. John’s at 1 pm on day ten and departs at 5 pm on day eleven.

It’s day twelve, and the cruise reaches Saint Pierre, capital of archipelago of St. Pierre and Miquelon. It’s the last remnant of French colonial presence in North America and guests can visit the Arch Museum & Archives, the Heritage Museum, or Sailors' Island. The cruise arrives at Saint Pierre at 8 am and departs at 3 pm.

The guests on day thirteen will be sailing at sea and can indulge in getting a spa treatment onboard or take up a fitness class at luxurious fitness centre. Interact with the fellow guests on the deck and enjoy exciting evening entertainment at the Lounge.

On day fourteen of the cruise, the guests onboard will be sailing over the Saguenay Fjord in Canada. The clear fjord waters stretches over to 100 km and even attract the whales at its mouth as it’s very deep. The cruise arrives at Saguenay Fjord at 9 am and departs at 12.59 pm.

We reach Saguenay city on day fourteen of the cruise, it’s located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. It’s famed for the point where ocean & inland water meet and being surrounded by longest fjords and three national parks. Guests can engage themselves in excursions such as Saguenay Highlights & Wine Tasting, Stroll in Saguenay National Park, or Best of Saguenay. The cruise arrives at Saguenay at 1 pm and departs at 9 pm.

It’s day fifteen and the Greenland, Newfoundland & Quebec Voyage reaches Quebec City, one of North America’s oldest cities. Guests will experience the lovely European charm, fabulous cuisine, and romantic French atmosphere as Quebec City is one of the popular destinations. They can take part in ultimate excursions from the port like Historic Quebec & Montmorency Falls or UNESCO Heritage Sites of Quebec. The cruise arrives at Quebec City at 9.30 am and departs at 6 pm.

It’s the last day of the Azamara’s Greenland, Newfoundland & Quebec Voyage and we arrive in the anchor port of Montreal, Quebec. Famed for being the ‘Paris of Canada’, guests onboard the cruise in Montreal can spend time in its distinct neighbourhoods, do shopping, and enjoy its vibrant nightlife.
