Itinerary

It’s day one of Greenland Discovery Cruise and guests need to reach the docking port before the World Voyager starts to sail at 8 PM. Guests can check out the Harpa Concert Hall and relish the Kaleidoscopic views from a glittering, glass structure. Perlan is another prominent landmark that hosts an exhibition, planetarium, and restaurant, it’s located on top of Oskjuhilo hill.

It’s the day two, the cruise arrives in the city of Grundarfjörður having the landmark Kirkjufell, known as ‘Church Mountain’, and a three-pronged waterfall called Kirkjufellsfoss. The cruise arrives at Grundarfjörður at 7 am and departs at 3 pm.

It’s day three and the cruise will carry on its journey towards Greenland over the Arctic Circle. The guests can interact with the fellow travellers and enjoy some time at the deck.

On the Southern edge of Greenland, the guests will find the Prince Christian Sound bordering the glaciers and huge icebergs. You will make landing in the tiny village of Aappilattoq, in which people are living in the colorful, yellow, red and blue, Nordic-style houses.

It’s day five and the cruise will reach the largest city of Southern Greenland known as Qaqortoq. It’s popular for its open-air “Stone and Man” art exhibition featuring unique sculptures. Hot springs are common here but the outdoor spa on the uninhabited island of Uunartoq is a favourite among locals and explorers. The cruise arrives at Qaqortoq at 9 am and departs at 6 pm.

The Greenland Discovery Cruise reaches Narsarsuaq on day six and this city played an important role among the Allies of World War II. Go for hiking in trails of Greenland Arboretum and enjoy the scenic views overlooking the beautiful glaciers. The cruise arrives at Narsarsuaq at 7 am and departs at 4 pm.

It’s day seven and the cruise will reach the city of Paamiut in Greenland which lies off the beaten path amid wild fjords. Visit the Paamiut Museum and explore the colourful houses with local traditions in the village of Paamiut. The cruise arrives at Paamiut at 9 am and departs at 5 pm.

We reach the capital of Greenland, Nuuk today and is popular for sightings of humpback whales, waterfall, and icebergs. It’s the cultural center here, Katuaq that displays its architectural prowess with a building crafted to mimic the waves of the Aurora Borealis. The cruise arrives at Nuuk at 1 pm and departs at 8 pm.

It’s the untouched beauty of Akulleq on day nine makes the Greenland Discovery Cruise come alive. A place where ice reigns supreme and you can experience the grandeur of humpback whales against floating icebergs. The cruise arrives at Akulleq at 8 am and departs at 6 pm.

It’s day ten of the cruise and we reach the city of Sisimiut in Greenland which lies at the end of Arctic Circle trail. Guests can venture into the wild on a rugged terrain belonging to the Tele Island. You can also visit Sallinnguit which is the home of Inuit people for over 4000 years. The cruise arrives at Sisimiut at 8 am and departs at 4 pm.

It’s the last day of the Greenland Discovery Cruise and we arrive in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland which has breathtaking landscapes of glaciers, crevasses and blue meltwater lakes. Once you land at the port, visit the Kangerlussuaq Museum to look at the town’s modern history.
