It commences from cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires, moves to cobblestone streets of Uruguay’s capital city Montevideo, and wraps at Ushuaia, city nicknamed as “End of the World”, in Argentina. Ushuaia, a city where Andes meet the Beagle Channel and snow-capped mountains hide behind its colourful buildings.

Itinerary

It’s the capital city of Argentina and the docking port of our Falklands & Fjords Explorer Cruise. The city offers a combination of modern skyscrapers and colonial structures, alongside beautiful attractions such as Casa Rosada & Recoleta Cemetery. The cruise departs from port of Buenos Aires at 7 pm.

It’s day two of the Falklands & Fjords Explorer Cruise and we reach the capital city of Uruguay. Montevideo is popular for its colonial buildings, cobblestone streets, and verdant cityscapes. When in Montevideo, don’t miss the UNESCO World Heritage Site Church of Atlantida. The cruise arrives at Montevideo at 8 am and departs at 11 pm.

We reach the city of Punta del Este of Uruguay today and it holds few of the finest beaches on the coast. Playa Brava and Playa Mansa showcase the natural diversity of Uruguay’s coastline. The skyscrapers on shoreline of Punta del Este showcase its lively energy alongside rich, cosmopolitan look & feel. The cruise arrives at Punta del Este at 7 am and departs at 6 pm.

It’s day four and the cruise will carry on its journey towards Falkland Islands, one of liveliest South American islands. The guests can interact with the fellow travellers and enjoy some time at the deck.

Port Stanley is a colourful & small town of Falkland Islands and is popular for the famous whale bone arch. This eccentric and rarely visited destination is a haven for watching Magellanic penguins and guests can also check out Historic Dockyard Museum. The cruise arrives at Port Stanley, Falkland Islands at 7 am and departs at 6 pm.

It’s day eight and the cruise will be sailing along the Falkland Islands. The guests onboard get an opportunity to watch Gentoo Penguins, sheep and nesting albatross on stretches of tussock grass. The Carcass Island is a nature’s paradise and guests to see diverse varieties of bird species alongside Gentoo & Magellanic Penguins waddling by. The West Point Island of Falkland Islands has been famous for being the Albatross Island and guests can check the famous hillock, ‘The Devil’s Nose’. The New Island of Falkland Islands showcases the king cormorants & rock-hopper penguins and this small island is a breeding ground for more than forty species of birds. It’s day eleven of the Falklands & Fjords Explorer Cruise and we reach the Strait of Magellan famous for the first navigable sea route linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The guests can interact with the fellow travellers and enjoy some time at the deck.

We reach the city of Punta Arenas in Chile and it’s a grand gateway to the natural wonders of Patagonia & beyond. The guests are able to sight few aquatic life including the Southern right whale & plenty of Magellanic penguins. The cruise arrives at Punta Arenas, Chile at 7 am and departs at 5 pm.

It’s day thirteen and we reach close to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Alberto de Agostini National Park. It’s famous for the blue ice shelf of Garibaldi fjord and its mesmerising colour. The Captain will try its best to expertly navigate the ice floes, icebergs, and changing sea conditions, few itinerary routes are subject to change as per current conditions.

It’s the last day of the Falklands & Fjords Explorer Cruise and we arrive at the anchor port of Ushuaia in Argentina. It’s tagged as the"End of the World" as the city is placed on southernmost tip of South America.
