It’s an adventure cruise that begins from Knoxville in Tennessee and ventures into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Itinerary

It’s the first day of Great Smoky Mountain National Park Cruise and guests fly into Knoxville to get settled for an overnight stay at the hotel. The city has got a southern charm with vibrant arts scene and guests can also swing by the lively down-town having scenic river views.

The guests will travel from Knoxville to Pigeon Forge which is placed right on the scenic foothills of the Smokies. Guests will be treated here with visits to whimsical museums like the Titanic Museum Attraction and Wonder Works, an upside-down building having plenty of interactive exhibits.

It’s the day when you move through the trails of Cades Cove in a caravan of Jeeps and supported by narrators who share history of the twisted paths. Guests should touch base the Sugarlands Visitor Center having the exhibits that feature the park’s indigenous plants and animals.

It’s day four and we carry on with exploration of Great Smoky Mountain National Park & its surrounding areas. The Clingmans Dome has the most captivating sightings of Appalachian Mountains and down-town Gatlinburg in Tennessee is a pleasant stopover for the guests.

It’s the day to board the American Symphony and start cruising from Chattanooga through the Appalachian Mountains. The guests get together for complimentary drinks, followed by nightly cocktail hours on the cruise.

It’s day six of the cruise, and American Symphony will reach the unique port of Decatur in Alabama. Visit the ever-bustling Delano Park, renowned for its sprawling and lush green grounds with tall ancient oaks. The Space Exploration at US Space & Rocket Center excursion cannot be missed by the guests.

We reach the city of Florence in Alabama today, which blends its historical nature with a lively cultural scene. Visit the Renaissance Tower and Rosenbaum House, having an exceptional Usonian architecture than one will ever see. It’s Florence Local Loop having a bouquet of attractions keeps the guests entertained.

It’s day eight, and we reach the eastern shore of the Tennessee River. Here lies the city of Savannah, famous for its historical significance and captivating scenery. Visit the Tennessee River Museum, which showcases the river’s integral role in shaping regional history.

It’s the city that’s right on the conflux of the mighty Ohio and Tennessee Rivers; Paducah, a small township in Kentucky, is popular for its National Quilt Museum, and it’s rightly labeled as UNESCO’s Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art.

It’s a day when you wake up to find yourself calmly cruising on Lake Barkley in Kentucky, and later, you will enjoy the expansive views of the Cumberland River from your private balcony.

It’s the penultimate and we move back to the rhythmic town of Nashville, Tennessee. Guests onboard look to enjoy their good times at Ryman Auditorium and make great memories when they attend the Grand Ole Opry show. Guests can explore Nashville city today when they take a complimentary excursion offered by American Cruise Lines.

It’s the day when you say goodbye to American Symphony, and after having breakfast at the onboard restaurant, we disembark from the ship. As the guests prepare for their onward journey, all of them will surely reflect on the unique experiences made on the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Cruise.
